Serena Williams WINS Wimbledon 2010, Gets FAB For Harper's Bazaar

Serena Williams just defeating Russia's Vera Zvonareva in the womens' singles final at the prestigious 2010 Wimbledon tennis championships today. It's Serena's 4th Wimbledon title, and her 13th major title overall. Congrats 'Rena!

She also got fabulous for a recent Harper's Bazaar shoot. We've got a full pic and more when you read on...

Tennis champion Serena Williams' new body is her biggest victory yet. Serena shows off her svelte silhouette in a stunning spread for the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, on newsstands July 20.

In the photo spread, Serena showcases her stylish self in a Fendi dress, and sports a swimsuit by Eres. In the interview, she opens up about her body image, embracing her curves, and dating, revealing the reason behind breaking up with Common. Plus, Williams, now in top shape and looking her best, shares her diet and fitness regimen.

On her body image: "I was 23 when I realized that I wasn't Venus. She's totally different. I'm super curvy. I have big boobs and this massive butt. She's tall and she's like a model and she fits everything. I was growing up, wanting to be her, wanting to look like her, and I was always fitting in her clothes, but then one day I couldn't. But it's fine. Now I'm obviously good, but it's a weird thing. . . . To this day, I don't love my arms. People want more fit arms, but my arms are too fit. But I'm not complaining. They pay my bills."

On beauty: "Since I don't look like every other girl, it takes a while to be okay with that. To be different. But different is good. I feel so much sexier with short hair. I wanted to reach inside me and feel better. I don't want to hide behind a facade of hair."

Anonymous, you need a "strength trainer/coach". My daughter does ice skating and when her regular coach explained to me that she needed a strength trainer, I thought she was out of her mind. That coach works on specific parts of the body, to do very specific things. Just going to the gym and even lifting weights will not help. This thing is very specific. Hope that helps.
