HONORING MICHAEL JACKSON 1 Year Later: Celebs & Fans REMEMBER

It has been 1 year since the death of the King of Pop.

Celebs and fans alike are spending today remembering the King. Details when you read on...

Celebs like Kelly Rowland, Drake, the Game, Flo-Rida, Ne-Yo, and B.O.B. spoke about how much Michael Jackson influenced their lives.

Here's a run down of how you can spend some of your day remembering MJ via T.V.:

* ABC: "2-0/20" special, "Michael Jackson: After Life," 9-11 p.m.
* CBS: 8 a.m. hour of "The Early Show" is devoted to Jackson.
* CNN: "Michael Jackson: The Final Days," 8 p.m., with Don Lemon, followed by a Larry King special tribute, 9 p.m.
* E!: "True Hollywood Story" (repeat), 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.; "The Last Days of Michael Jackson," 10 a.m., 3 and 8 p.m.; "Michael Jackson," 11 a.m., 4 and 9 p.m.
* Fuse: Starting today, in heavy rotation through Sunday: "A Tribute," "The Inside Story," "Remember His Time," "Devotion."
* MTV: "Michael Jackson Top 10 Video Countdown," 5-6:30 p.m.; "Michael Jackson's Influence," 6:30 p.m.
* NBC: "Dateline," 9 p.m., Katherine Jackson interview.
* TV Guide: "Gone Too Soon," 9-11 p.m.; "Michael Jackson's Entourage: Where Are They Now," and "Michael Jackson: His Family Dynasty," 11 p.m.
* VH1: "The Jacksons: An American Family," noon-5 p.m.; "Famous Crime Scenes," 11:30 p.m.

And the Jackson Family is having a memorial service at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11AM today.

And the Jackson Family Foundation will present "Forever Michael", a red-carpet event featuring performances paying tribute to the singer and his legacy, tomorrow at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Wow, I can't believe how time

Wow, I can't believe how time flies and changes. This time around last year I was a broken child inside, mourning MJ's death like I had just lost the love of my life. Even my family, who aren't fazed by stars, were in total shock. Reminiscing about their younger days back in Africa when everybody wanted to either be Mike or date Mike. Heck, my super religious Muslim uncle was hoping Michael would some how be granted the mercy of God and be granted heaven. As we all did and still do. Today I still feel the loss but I don't mourn anymore. I celebrate in my heart, the man that taught me my first English words and dance moves through his music. And the love of my life, still. Rest in heaven Michael, insha Allah. -A

Tasha, you got Micheal. My generation had the Jackson Five. I can go down the list of families who tried to remove the Jackson Five from their spotlight but they couldn't because they simple didn't have a kid who seemed to known his place in history from day one. Michael was a show man, not just kid who liked to sing. He was the true embodiment of music and talent. While the likes of the Osmonds, Sylvers, De-barges and others, tried to keep pace with the Jacksons, it was Michael who made it impossible because he set the bar so high. IMO, what made Michael so special was his ability to transcend his group days and become an even greater artist in his own rights. That is not easy to do. Michael you're gone but will never be forgotten. Long live a true King of his art.

He was a talented child performer and his gift blossomed into that of a special adult entertainer.
