CONCERT FAB: Jill Scott Rocks Out L.A. & Oakland

The ever fabulous Jill Scott took the stage at the Staples Center in L.A. this past Saturday. She's on tour with Maxwell and the new mom is rocking a fresh and fun look.

Never thought I would see her in gold metallic foil.

The dress was not a favorite, but the voice is so wonderful, who cares. Everyone is allowed to dress sparkly once in awhile, and if you haven't notice the lady is slimming down quite nicely since the birth of Jett. I thought she looked great in Oakland. Pure fun!

I love Jill Scott, she is a

I love Jill Scott, she is a great performer and seems to have a great spirit. However, it saddens me to see she has fallen into the main stream hype of dressing with the loud colors, sparkles, outlandish outfits and who can go further with "far out" clothing. I thought she would be the type to stay true to her style like Ms. Badu. I think she is far too mature to fall into that category. Jill is on a different level than Brianna, Lady GaGa or Nicki Minga. I’ve seen Jill’s fun side and this isn’t it. I hope this is still a work in progress

Natasha, you said Jill looked fresh & fab cuz you luv her, LOL. As a fellow-Philly-fab-chick I luvs me some Jill too--but I'm sorry...she looks a hot mess in that outfit. Gold Lame does not look good on ANYBODY! No matter how you cut it, it looks cheap-especially if you're not a size 6. And those glasses--she kinds looks like that black woman who used to be on weeds-just a mess! Lucky for Jill her talent trumps this fashion f--- up!
