RUMOR CONTROL: NeNe & Greg Leakes Deny Cheating Allegations In Joint Statement

Rumors have run rampant for months that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes is cheating on her husband of 13 years Greg Leakes. But after this week's reports that NeNe's new alleged boo, New Orleans Saints baller Charles Grant, is facing involuntary manslaughter charges, she and Greg have decided to speak out.

Our friends over at HipHollywood.com received these statements from both NeNe and Greg about the cheating allegations:

“Greg and I are still together – not separated or divorced. I have not left my husband for NFL player Charles Grant, and I don’t know how those rumors started. Charles Grant is no more than a casual acquaintance of mine since hosting one of his charity events in Atlanta about a year ago. I really have not had any contact with him since the Super Bowl, where I congratulated him for his big win along with other fans. I have never cheated on my husband, and reports of infidelity on my part are simply untrue. Like any married couple, we’re going through some marital problems, and working toward a path of recovery that’s personal and private. Our marital issues have nothing to do with infidelity on my behalf.”

“I stand behind my wife 100 percent! NeNe and I have been married for 13 years, and she has been a faithful wife to me. We are a normal married couple, going through ups and downs, just like any other couple. Yes, we’re experiencing a marital storm right now, but I believe with God’s guidance, we’ll get through it. Right now, our marriage is not a perfect one, but rumors and innuendos, accusing my wife of infidelity has been damaging to the reputations of NeNe and Mr. Grant. I am not an injured party, and accusations that NeNe has done something to hurt me or jeopardize our family is false and far from the truth.”

My guess is that Greg had to cheat...by reading NeNe's statement and using context clues, she said TWICE that their marital problem are not on HER behalf of infidelity. Check it. And Greg's statement only concurs with that... NeNe's infidelity is "far from the truth". Darn right...it's the opposite party. No one is perfect and no one can judge but God so, I'm not judging. I just hope they go through therapy and can mend all broken wounds. Though it will never be the same, if it's meant to be it'll be. I wish them both well. Blessings- xoxo

So is it possible that the "storm" in their marriage was caused by Greg? Nene reiterates that their peoblems have nothing to do with infidelity ON HER PART twice.. Greg NEVER says that. He only says that she did not cause the problem. He cheated with her when they got together. It's possible he is cheating now.

Sad that they have to put out a statement to attempt to satisfy people's nosey ass assumptions, but it seems that NOBODY is safe from the media's scrutiny these days. Be cordial to someone, get caught in a couple photos... and all of a sudden they're having an affair. Even this article about how she's NOT cheating has all the "no life having ass folks" picking it apart...WTF?! Is this what some of ya'll do all day??? If so, here's a recommendation: get a life! I applaud them for coming out as a COUPLE to deny the rumors---says alot about their marriage, so all the spectators hoping for some drama... have a phucking seat.
