I'm a publicist and I'm not sure what to think except: 1. Chris Brown was wrong. There is never any denying that. 2. Rih may or may not have hit him. We don't know that outside of gossip sites. 3. They both (including myself) work in an industry where malicious intentions to move units are not uncommon. 4. Chris can't event respond to this because it will make him look even worse than he already does. 5. Both doing interviews at the same time is absolutely a means to move albums- pls don't mistake that. Malicious? Who knows? But one thing is true: If he got his time to talk, then she rightfully should have hers. 6. This is one large spectacle that keeps gaining new life. The sad part is when ppl on the "team" continue to look for means of giving the sitch new life instead of looking for charitable, social justice-related outlets in which to move towards a positive light. But I guess as my boss says "the media doesn't like positive. They like entertainment, and that's not always positive." I pray for them both in hopes that they make it through their own personal issues and emerge stronger, wiser and much more compassionate towards others.

Whether or not she is doing this to get media attention just before her album is dropped isn't really an issue for me, I reallt respect her for having the guts to talk about such a private event and be honest about the fact that she did go back and wanted to stay with him. I have 2 agree 2 disagree w/many of U, I say this bcuz I have been in a situation where I was verbally abused which lead me 2 foolishly fuel on a domestic violence situation. Any savy business person would know that when something is hot you capitalize on it, and keep it flowing. So both Bey and GaGa are re releasing, so does that mean they needed an angle as well. So what if there are no standouts like Umbrella, that was GGGB, this is something new. There are 13 tracks on the album, you've only heard 3, so there are more to come. The point of the matter is that even if she don't have a 1st week album sale that is astronomical, she is still a big star, with a loyal fan base, and don't need this interview to sell anything. People were already pre ordering her album even before they knew she was going to do this interview. Her fans were already anticipating her new album.
