She is talented. No one can take that away from her. She is killing the competition on the entertaining level period. However, I guarantee none of us will be singing any of her songs in 20-40 years and THIS is the difference between being a SUPERSTAR and an ICON. She has been focusing on getting the most awards and not making timeless music. While I admire her determination, my dislike of her stems from first when they kicked those other girls out of DC. That left a bad taste in many folks mouths I believe. Then there is her father, Papa Joe. Then, its like when I see her now, everything looks FAKE. Bottom line, I don't feel moved when I hear her voice. Go to youtube and put in Jazmine Sullivan "In Love With Another Man" or Tarralyn Ramsey "Up Against All Odds" or go back to the 90s music and look up Toni Braxton "Secrets" album. THIS IS TIMELESS MUSIC and truly gifted voices. I'm not big on talking bout looks, but people HAVE gotten caught up in B's look versus what they really feel when they hear her songs. I don't believe she understands the true significance of the inauguration day. I dont think she is seeing past what she wants which is to get one more up on other female artists.
