Mint Condition is under new representation and is releasing the ninth album E-Life on May 6th. Stokely, Rick, Jeff, Lawrence and O’Dell are back sans Keri (Mr. Toni Braxton). The Best Group EVER...of course, Earth Wind and Fire too! These guys are a true band. Remember "This Day, this minute, right now..." Keri wrote that. I just wish he would come back to the group and get it right with his boys. Seems like he wrote most of their music along with Stokely. Aww, MISSED YA'LL!

When Pretty Brown Eyes came out - circa 1991, all I could do was swoon...I was 19, a hot mess and in-love. Ok, I think I just told on myself, damn I getting old. For those of you too young to remember who they are, these guys brought REAL music to the era that was rockin "New Jack Swing" at the time. They came with their instruments and their voices and provided our young lives with REAL MUSIC about REAL LOVE, like folks used to do back when my folks were young. I'm looking forward to their new CD...it's long overdue.

I LOVE Mint Condition! I've seen them twice in concert over the last two years. They are the definition of good music. I don't really feel like they've been "gone" for a while because they've never left my life. Let's just hope they get the recognition they deserve for being truly talented musicians!

You would stop listening to that foolishness that is played on the radio today. Also check out some vintage Earth, Wind & Fire, Marving Gaye, Maze, AWB, Cameo, Will Downing, Kem, Norman Brown, Dazz Band, Con Funk Shun, Pleasure, Pockets, George Benson, Tower of Power etc. I am only 37 but know great music.
